Data Collection

ReachWriter is designed with privacy in mind:

  • No User Accounts: We do not require registration or user accounts
  • No Server-Side Storage: We do not store your personal data or email content on our servers
  • Browser-Based Storage: All data is stored locally in your browser using IndexedDB
  • User Control: You have complete control over your data and can clear it at any time

The only information processed includes the input you provide (company names, prospect information, talking points) to generate email content through our AI service.

How We Use Data

The information you provide is used solely for:

  • Generating personalized email content via AI API calls
  • Improving your experience with the application
  • Enabling core functionality of the service

Your input data is sent to our AI service provider (OpenAI via Vercel AI Gateway) for processing and generating email content. This data is not used for training AI models.

Data Storage and Security

All your data is stored locally in your web browser using IndexedDB technology:

  • Data never leaves your device except when making AI API requests
  • You can clear all stored data by clearing your browser storage
  • Data is not synchronized across devices
  • We do not have access to your locally stored data

While we implement reasonable security measures, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

AI Service Provider Disclosure

Vercel AI Gateway (OpenAI GPT)

ReachWriter uses Vercel AI Gateway with OpenAI GPT models to generate email content. When you click "Generate", the following information is sent to OpenAI via Vercel AI Gateway for processing:

  • Your form inputs (industry, prospect role, pain point, value proposition)
  • Selected tone and template type
  • Subject line or follow-up sequence requests

Purpose: Generate personalized cold email variations based on your inputs.

OpenAI's Data Handling:

  • Data is processed for generation only
  • NOT used for training AI models (API requests are not used for training per OpenAI policy)
  • Data is deleted after processing and not retained

By using ReachWriter's generation features, you explicitly consent to sending your form data to OpenAI via Vercel AI Gateway for AI processing.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Vercel AI Gateway / OpenAI: For AI-powered email generation (details above)
  • Vercel: For hosting and delivering our application
